Iaroslav Bieliei

I was born in Kyiv, Ukraine and started dancing at the age of 6. I have had the opportunity to work with some of the best teachers in the world since an early age, which enabled me to reach national and international competitions. I became the Ukrainian National Champion in Juniors and Youth categories, a finalist of the Junior Blackpool Dance Festival and European Youth Championship in International Ballroom Style. I also earned a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Dancesport at National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine.

I moved to Canada at the age of 21 and became Canadian National Champion in Amateurs. In 2014, I moved to the USA where I turned professional and I became the US National Professional Rising Stars Champion the same year.

In our first year together, Liliia and I became Blackpool Dance Festival Professional Rising Stars Runners up and finalists of all major events in the US. Since then, we have become finalists and winners of many prestigious events in the USA and worldwide.

In 2021 we have become United States National Professional International Standard Champions, earning one of the most important titles in our career. We have also become World Vice-Champions in World Standard Show dance Championship the same year and we are currently ranked top 5 in WDC World Ranking.

Today, we live in Pasadena, California, where we actively train and teach. We are both certified Dance Vision instructors and Ambassadors. Both of us love sharing our knowledge and educating dancers using the Prism Method - our own methodology of teaching and learning ballroom dancing. It allows our students across the country to achieve the highest results on and off the competition floor.

Liliia and I are executive producers and directors of ballroom dance show that is coming on stage very soon.
